Living foods are foods that are under 106-107 degrees. These are mostly uncooked foods, and they are full of vitamins and minerals. Mostly fruits and veggies! Day 11 - all about sugar replacement! Processed sugars that is. Processed sugars, white sugar and brown sugar mainly, can be very damaging to your health.There is no nutrition in sugar, just empty calories.      Well, today I'm on a roll. I started my morning with my Barley Max, followed by my fiber drink, and after that I juiced. I usually juice carrots with a tad of apple, but this AM I didn't have any apples so instead I added some asparagus and kale to my carrot juice. I was surprised at how good it tasted!     This year we had a lot of fun taking the boys out Trick or Treating. I LOVE making costumes each year, and so this year I got to make two!! I saw a costume suggestion in a magazine for a knight and a dragon, and I thought that would be perfect for my two boys so I decided to give it a go. I love it, and so does my family! We get 2-3 gallons a week, and we use it for lots of things. We drink it and cook with it, and I make butter, yogurt, and keifer out of it. 
     So I collect the cream off the top of the milk during the spring and summer when the cows (Jersey's - A1 milk!) are eating lots of fresh green grass to make our butter.      This week we've had some friends in from PA with their little boy. We've been having fun doing different things everyday, and coming up with some new stuff for the kiddos. It's been really hot here in East TN lately, so we went to WalMart and got a little kiddie pool with a slide for them to play in. Some of Judah's cousins came over to play too. My MIL and SIL are the two that always volunteer. It's kind of become a tradition for them to host this meal. There's a lot involved, and they both do an excellent job.
